I will be visiting Chiang Rai for a discussion with contemporary Akha artists during Thailand Biennale Chiang Rai 2023.
I was invited because the artist is said to be inspired by the Akha myth, and I have mentioned the Akha myth in my past research.
This is an exciting event that bridges art, anthropology, and architecture, and I would like to think about what Akha is currently thinking and where they are heading.
